International Activities (Pilot Countries) Austria

Chemical Leasing (ChL) was first put into practice in 2004 by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW), which initiated a pilot project covering the process of metal parts cleaning. Outside Europe ChL business models are being implemented in cooperation with the UNIDO National Cleaner Production Centres (NCPC) in Egypt, Mexico and Russia.
