Chemical Leasing (ChL) was first put into practice in Austria under the guidance of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW). In cooperation with the BMLFUW, UNIDO has launched in March 2005 a series of pilot
projects to promote ChL in developing and transition countries.
The ChL projects in these countries are being implemented in close
cooperation with the respective National Cleaner Production Centres,
namely Egypt, Mexico and
Russia (St. Petersburg). |
