Concept of Chemical Leasing
General Objectives

The objective of Chemical Leasing is the environmental and economic optimisation of a chemical's life cycle.

The chemical supplier is paid for the service rendered by the chemical and not for the amount of chemical provided. Hence, to reduce his costs, he will try to reduce the amount of chemical used and increase the recycling rate. Chemical supplier and user, as well as the environment benefit from this approach:

  1. Emission reduction
As a result of the reduction in chemical consumption, waste load, air and water pollution will decrease, reducing the environmental impact of the production process.

  2. Added Value
The reduced amount of chemical used to provide the benefit desired and the increased amount of chemical recovered signifies a reduced cost for the production of the chemical. By sharing this added value, chemical supplier and user, both gain an economic advantage from applying the Chl business model.
