In 2009, in order to enhance the visibility of Chemical Leasing worldwide, the Global Chemical Leasing Award was jointly developed by UNIDO and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. The official Award Ceremony took place on 1st March 2010 in Prague during the international ChemCon Conference Europe 2010.
